New California Requirements for General Anesthesia/Conscious Sedation Scheduled to Take Effect Jan 2022
California Senate Bill 501, signed by the Governor in 2018 and scheduled to become…
Today, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released a new List N Tool, which is a web-based application (app), that enables consumers to quickly and easily search for disinfectant products with EPA approval against SARS-CoV-2, the virus which causes COVID-19. EPA’s List N consists of more than 400 surface disinfectant products that meet the EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2. On the app, users can search by use site (e.g., home, business, health care, etc.), surface type (e.g., hard, non-porous surfaces like countertops; porous surfaces like fabrics), contact time (i.e., the time the product needs to be visibly wet), EPA registration number, active ingredient, or product name.
When using an EPA-registered disinfectant, always follow the label directions for safe, effective use. Make sure to follow the contact time, which is the amount of time the surface should remain visibly wet. And finally, as a reminder, as stated on EPA’s List N Tool website, “these products are for use on surfaces, NOT humans”.
Both of our SUV Disinfectant products are on EPA’s List N, referenced under EPA Registration Numbers – 6836-366 and 6836-372. Note both products are sub-registered under the master label name Lonza, Inc.
