The Idaho State Board of Dentistry recommends that their members follow the CDC Guidelines for Infection Control in Dental Health- Care Settings. In reference to sterilizer monitoring, the CDC guidelines state:
“Monitor sterilizers at least weekly by using a biological indicator.”
