The DBC Wants Your Email Address – Dental Board of California
In September 2015, California Governor Brown signed Assembly Bill 179 into law, which requires, by July 1, 2016, every dental licensee applicant and current licensee to report to the Dental Board of California (DBC) his or her email address. Under the new law, the DBC is also required to annually send an electronic notice to each applicant and licensee who requests confirmation of the applicant’s or licensee’s email address.
The DBC continues to conduct communication outreach to notify licensees about the new email requirement. For licensees who have not yet already provided a current email address to the DBC, or for those whose email address has changed, they should submit their current email contact information, along with their full name, and license number, to dentalboard@dca.ca.gov.
