Alert – Dental Board of California (DBC) Advise Early License Renewal this Fall
Both the Dental Board of California (DBC) and the California Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) are alerting licensees with renewal dates in September or October to complete their renewals by September 15th, 2013. The DCA is expected to transition to a new online licensing and enforcement system in early October. During this time, there will be temporary disruptions in cashiering and other services, which will affect all DCA agencies, including the DBC.
Online license renewal will not be available during this time, which may also delay the issuance and posting of new licenses. All licensees with a renewal date in September or October, are advised to submit their applications early to avoid a late renewal.
As a part of license renewal all licensees are required to have continuing education units.
