California Dental Practice Act Training Mailing this Week

The May/June 2014 issue of OSHA Review, which is the mandatory California Dental Practice Act course, has been mail to our subscribersCalifornia Dental Practice Act Training. Enclosed with this issue is a copy of the new Notice of Licensure by the Dental Board of California, which must be prominently posted in the dental office, in at least 48-point type font.

The Dental Board of California requires all dental licensees in California to obtain two units covering the DPA and two units in infection control. This issue satisfies the DPA requirement for all licensed staff in your office. Some of the required training topics reviewed in this issue include dental auxiliary duties, licensure issues, practice permits, patient records, general anesthesia, prescription drugs, and DPA enforcement.
