This policy explains what information oshareview.com collects, why, and who it is shared with. It covers this website only. Orders, payments and customer accounts are handled on our store at my.oshareview.com, which has its own Privacy & Security page.
Information you give us
- Newsletter sign-up. If you subscribe to our Dental Bytes newsletter, we collect your email address.
- SUV Ultra 5 Cost Calculator. If you ask us to email your results, we collect your email address and the answers you selected in the calculator.
- Phone and email. If you call or email us, we keep what you tell us so we can help you.
We use this information to send you the newsletter or results you asked for, to answer your questions, and to tell you about our products and services. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
Information collected automatically
- Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are viewed and how people arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your browser type, device, approximate location and the pages you visit. Google may collect this information over time and across other websites that use its services. You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Security and site operation. Like most websites, our server and security tools record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We use it to keep the site running, block spam and attacks, and fix broken links.
- Embedded Google content. Our Contact page shows a Google Map, and our pages use Google Fonts. Loading these sends your IP address and browser information to Google.
We do not use advertising or retargeting trackers on this website, and we do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
This site uses cookies set by Google Analytics, and cookies that keep our own staff logged in. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, so this site does not currently change its behavior when it receives one. You can still opt out of Google Analytics as described above.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and our business, and only for that purpose:
- Mailchimp (Intuit), which stores our email list and sends our newsletter.
- Google, for Google Analytics, Google Maps and Google Fonts.
- Our website host and security providers, which store the site and protect it from spam and attacks.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, customers or the public.
How long we keep it
We keep newsletter and calculator email addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email.
- Ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us below.
- Opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on.
Children
This website is intended for dental professionals and businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Security
Every page of this site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we use security tools to protect it. No website can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to protect the information you give us.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date at the top.
